I create your personalized jewelry using solid metals (and not cheap, plated alloy that discolors and flakes over time). I want your jewelry to last a very long time. STEEL

Affordable, hypoallergenic, non-tarnishing, non-flaking, and won't rust. What's not to love about steel? It is much harder on my tools and hands, though, so I am transitioning into pewter.

All chain options and findings are solid steel unless otherwise noted.

PEWTER

Pewter is the perfect middleman when given a choice between sterling, steel, and aluminum. Unless purposefully oxidized, it stays beautifully shiny the more you touch it and wear it. Pewter is denser than other metals, so the larger the pewter piece, the heavier it will be.

My pewter is USA sourced, hand-cast, and lead-free. It is more affordable than sterling or gold and easy to keep clean. And because the pewter is solid, not plated, there's no need to worry about flaking metal.

I use other metals--bronze, brass, copper, aluminum--in mixed metal pendants. The first three listed can and do tarnish, which is an effect I am going for in the designs I create with them anyway.
